 There is an area in Italy, NorthEast of Milan, called "Brianza", where historically a high number of industrial entities, many of them in the fine mechanics and electronic fields, have started and developed, based on a tradition of high productivity, inventiveness, dynamism and professionalism.
Taking advantage of this stimulating environment and of specific competence of their founders, VELP Scientifica has started in 1983 to design, manufacture, distribute and service a variety of equipment for laboratory use.
The philosophy that has driven its growth and its international expansion over the years has always been based on "Quality improvement for Customer satisfaction".
Since 1990 VELP is manufacturing according to IEC 1010/1 norms, it has been certified ISO 9002 in '94 and ISO 9001 in '97. All the equipment produced are CE marked since '93, and they are in line with the requirements of the major analytical methods definition standards: AOAC, EPA, DIN, ISO.
Its production is presently organized in three major lines of equipment that are distributed all over the world: Stirring, Environmental control, Food and feed tests.
In line with its constant development and growth, VELP has now completely renewed and enlarged its production facilities and offices, creating a working environment that reflects a modern industrial entity of international relevance, optimistically watching to the future.

Warehouses
Fast and effective procedures for incoming materials reception and finished goods shipments are facilitated by two fully independent warehouses for those functions.

Visitors may have personal handson experience on our equipment, going from general information to detailed knowledge of operating procedures.
Finished products quality assurance
All products are controlled during the production process and fully tested under severe conditions before shipment.
